WIP: Le Défenseur A French Frigate

Post  General Armendariz on Thu Aug 05, 2010 3:31 pm

First off, I'd ;ike to thank CGH for helping with the steps of the mid sections
    Still, a WIP

Le Défenseur means Defender in French this ship is named that to be Defender of the seven seas.

No headrails right now, still working on it.

The captains quarters is just about complete!

Still need to buy string for rigging, any suggestions on what string to get?

    C&C Welcome, enjoy for now.

Looks good. The flower on the back of the cabin and the spinning thing (the anchor thing, right?) could use a little fixing.

So far, this looks very nice. It's impressive in size alone, but also has a good number of details which make it worthwhile. You do need to work on the photography, though, a creation like this suffers horribly from lousy photography. My only real suggestion it to extend the height between the main floor of the deck and the area with the captain's quarters, which would add to the aesthetic appeal of the ship.

As for what string to use, there's a certain type out there that's very similar to LEGO's string, but the name escapes me now. I'll get back to you on that.
