The one thing I'm having a problem with is that the paint is making the joints sticky. Any help with that?

Dang, Chief did that well. The trouble is I don't have that hobby tree stuff (that's what it is, right?) to get the leaves for this, I went looking around the yard. 
And the balaclava was dark non-blue gray, it was useless.
