Wow, I honestly don't know what to say, other then the cockypit is way too far in, and the 'wings' need to be longer.

Not bad, But it is blocky, Also try changing it all to dark bley, The mixed light and dark bley looks weird.

It is way to blocky. Don't really worry about colors for now, just do your best. Try using SNOT, it would make the hornet look smoother and a overall better creation.
