WIP/MOC Echo base hoth

This is our never ending rebel echo base hoth. right now we wait for the wampa cave set to release and then we will continue build on the base. i have lost count of bricks but we have used at least 13000 (without the ships) have used 2 mm led lights, pneumatic cylinders, motors eg for all the moving parts. the "floor" is raised one brick to hide the wires for the lights. the gr-75 will be added to the base when we continue the build. my son loves to play with it, and he is always adding some functions for the base. here you go hope you like it

Wow,Thats amazing me and my older bro are trying to put something together very similar. Only its not hoth,its on mustafar.

I'm not usually won over my sheer size. The base could certainly use some more greebles around the landing areas. The Ion Cannon is very nice though as is the generators. Other then that I applaud you for the size but still needs more detail.

yes its a chrome vader bought it really cheap at ebay when pricess was low.

right now its summer here in Denmark, so we dont do much lego building, but still adding details to the base, have improved the taun taun room, the command center, the bacta tank room, and even added a power unit for the ion canon. and i agree with other comments that the base need more greebles and details, but it will com. building a lego moc like this has been soemkind of expensive and need to save a litlle for other things in live to. will share some updated pictures, in a month or two when we are more "finsihed". have purchased more minifigs for the base, found some new batlle packs on sale here, so now we have some more rebel troopers.
