The cockpit is decidedly out of scale with the rest of the ship, though it kinda adds to the charm of the li'l thing. My main problem is with the gaps between the windshield and the main body of the ship- adding some plates underneath the windshield might fix that. The sloped wings are also very odd, and don't really add anything to the look of the ship. I would suggest joining the three wings together to form one basic slope, ideally with
this piece. That would probably enhance the look of the ship, adding a nice curve to the sides, rather than the disjointed protuberances currently there. Also, I don't like the arbitrary look of the 1 x 4 plate in the front, I think for that to work you need to either get rid of it entirely, or try to work it into the main body of the ship so that it flows from the cockpit and body, rather than just being there. Lastly, I'd work on the underside of the ship, and try to make that smoother and have it flow with the rest of the ship.
Really, though, it's a good start, it just needs some work. That flower piece for the engine is a nice parts usage, kudos on that.
