Just some fun with the Collectable Minifig Diver.

You wouldn't be able to see anything If I'd put Clear Plates all around it.Darman wrote:The only thing I dislike is the wall of water in the background. It looks like he is hovering on land and a tidal wave is coming at him, why would the water not be seen around him but you can see it behind him?

Darman wrote:Just a second comment, you really ought to put some more layering and landscaping on the ground. You just put on a bunch of plates, theres no groves, indentations, anything that is a sign of a good Moc. As of right now it would hardly hold up in the Guild nor do I understand how it got front paged.

I love the fact that both of you focused on the most vulnerable and opinionated point in my post. When you really look at it there is not that much detail to be had nor good enough landscaping.

Really though I think that the oiginality and just plain coolness of the way that he built the bubbles kinda make up for that, And remember theres not all that much you can do on an 8X8 plate
Darman wrote:I strongly disagree there is no limit to what you can do with 8x8 plate.

Maybe, But you can't fit as much detail in as youcould fit in to a 16X16 plate without giving it multiple layers which wouldn't suit this MOC. And its really Dutch and Hazards decision on what MOCs get frontpaged.
