Faction Wars

So I had this idea for Brick Ark. It's a lot like the Corps at CABG. So you have to make your own faction, and then you may or may not be accepted into an alliance. There will be a leader of each alliance who will be chosen by nomination to be in a poll. The alliances will have MOC-offs.


How to be in an alliance:

-You must make your own faction thread.

-You must be chosen by a leader of an alliance.

-You must apply to be in an alliance.

-You must stay active.


Let the nominations begin!


I also need an Admin to "okay" this.

Sounds pretty awesome! I might not use my orc faction, I might think of something better...

I disprove because I don't have all the parts to my faction ready. JK JK
If I were an admin I would approve this. To bad I have to stick with no tracks for tanks, not enough torsos for the troops, and no brickarms or brickforge to make them sexy looking. Ah well. I'll post my WIP faction soon.

Other then that, I think that is a great idea.

I'd be all for it, except for the fact that this makes us more like a CABG clone, and ni turn more like LSWF (I dont't think I need to explain why that's a bad thing). And, to tell you the truth I doubt it will really be as active as it should be.

Maybe instead of multiple threads just have one main thread with the factions listed there?

This will throw us off a cliff. First of all, it's very CABGish, they almost replaced Factions with Legions because so many Factions were posted. Second, how would the wars work? We can't just try to out-awesome each other, or again, we'll be like CABG, with the bad builders stomped on.

@Custom: The "wars"(as you called them) will be between two alliances or more and will begin once one alliance challenges the other.

I think it's a good idea. Honestly, 1 Mil was just trying to contribute this idea so the community would have something fun to do. Also, why do we always compare are selves to CABG? WTF. Cabg has nothing to do with Brick Ark. I'm tried of hearing this crap about Brick Ark trying to be a Cabg copy. It isn't! I also don't see how this is going to bash the "lower" leveled builders. At least they TRY to build. Give them credit for that. Don't forget, everyone can make their own faction. Great builder or bad builder. It's just something for the community as a whole to get involved in. Remember, you don't have to do it. Just think of it kinda like are very sucessful community building deal Brickpocalypse. Something that the whole community can get involved with if they want.

...Isn't half the game trying to be accepted into an alliance? That's my only point, I never said "noob bashing".

And Mil actually compares this to the Legion system at CABG in his post.
