We need something new

It's a fact, our older members are falling away (get back here!!!) and we're not getting any new members because we've got nothing for them. None of my suggested features need IPBoard, because we don't know when that will be available, and the forum needs this now. I also think we should, without a vote because it's obvious, make some awards or tags for active people, give them a reason to post.

*note: Dutch, I'm not trying to undermine your decal buisness or anything, but the forum was extra active when you gave out decals.

Here's the latest news on IPBoard. I'm waiting on payments to come threw right now. Once they do I'll have $87. So I'm more then half way I only need to sell 3 more custom figs before I can purchases IPBoard.

Moving onto the apoc forum. I can't do any thing till I've bought IPBoard.

You can't do anything.

All of my suggestions have already been done here, and if you're only halfway to IPBoard BrickArk will be dead by the time you get the Apoc ready.

I think if Dutch get his CAD machine and mould set and made a shop on the forum that would boost activeness.

That's another reason why I'm getting IPBoard. Once I've gone into production I'll buy IPBoard Nexus (Shop) and rename Brick Ark Mini Accessories (The name of my shop). Another thing is you have to become a member of the forum to be able to buy from the shop.

You could start by contacting all the staff that haven't logged on in a while, such as Denal, Seven, and Troopa.

I have $350 in the bank I know I'm getting $45 by mail, $40 from my local church and $20 for a custom. Should I take out $130 from my bank account?

Also, I think more contests would make the forum more active... Just my opinion.

It's the same forum platform that EuroBricks uses.

Make sure to have a flickr announcement, and EB or CABG if they'll let you, we need members.

Erm, do you really think that's a good idea? We'll have noobs making accounts just so they can buy crap. And the ones that do end up using the account, we won't want here...

Also, Lock, learn how to use punctuation. I have yet to see a post with out any careless mistakes from you, and you've been here for months.

I don't think just getting IPB will give the forum a boost that it needs. I think some activities for people to do would help. If i get off my *** I'll try to make a good mafia some time.

That's what I meant Hazard, although Dutch's idea helps too.

Although I disagree about the noobs, if the customs are a must have like I know they'll be, decent people will want some too, and they'll be on the forum then.

With the shop, more noob swill come.

And, yea, some good people will want to buy. But I doubt they would stay active.

And, as for the Apoc. Ounce we have IPB, the forum this site will be made into an Apoc/Sci-fi forum, run by me.

Haz do you have any idea what your Apoc forum will be called?
