Round 2's task is a
Two stud challenge
You may use any pieces however the only thing that touches the surface must be 1x2 studs. that's it.
NO BLUE HANDICAP this time. Another person will join you shortly.
I EXPECT TO SEE MORE THAN 4 ENTRIES THIS TIME.

I'm not saying this because my team lost, but out of common sense. You may want to reconsider your judging here, with only 4 entries, doing a 3-best isn't the most logical way to do this. If there were over, say, 10, then sure, it would make sense. Now if you think that the 3-entries judging is the way to go, then perhaps you should go like this; You pick the best three, and rank them, best to the least best of the three, and do a points sytem;

1st favorite- 5points
2nd- 3 points
3rd- 1 point

And do that for the 3 rounds, therefore coming up with an overall score.

In any case I'll begin working on the next MOC.

Like table legs, only the small plates can touch the ground. Theoreticly, you could just put 1x2 plates under a baseplate, but you wouldn't get many points for it.

Here is my entry, all balanced on a 1 by 2

and, when moderated, the brickshelf gallery
I call it, Battle in the HMS Sargasso. Blue wins, but they both drown anyways happy ending!

Not only did I balance this rig on the 1by2 but I also balanced the skeletal sunken (and somehow still sinking) ship on the tentacle/tail/long-sand-green-kelp piece
