    Inspired by the same game on the Mine Craft fourms here, http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=76693.
    What is it?
    -It all starts with a simple map created in MS Paint, but with each post, another player can edit the map to their pleasing, but of course there are specific rules which I'll mention later. There is no goal in this game, but if you've played any real time / turn based strategy game, think of it like that. You draw out your buildings and whatever else you can come up with. Maybe your civilization will research and develop a secret technology? You could build an underwater fortress, or an factory, or an underground research facility! The only thing is, you need to try to be realistic and fair to the rest of the players...time for the rules

    Rules

    1. You must RESEARCH things to be able to create them. You can't suddenly make a hyper-advanced robot army or tanks coming out of no were.

    2. You can only control ONE landmass at a time.

    3. You are allowed TWO post's per day.

    4. You MUST use the most recent version of the map, aka the last picture posted.

    5. You MUST save your image as a PNG or it will not be counted as a valid entry and you forfeit your turn for that day.

    6. Each turn you MUST include this format to show the technologies you have started to research that day/ the ones completed.

    7. You must add 50 Resources WHEN you post. You cannot later say you forgot and add it in. And remember, you can only harvest resources ONCE a day. Even though you are allowed two posts a day for building purposes.

    8. You have a total 50 % Research production.

    9. It takes 24 hours to get 50% of research done. Therefore it would take 2 days to get your research complete and on the third day you receive your technology. This is because we have no sense of hours in our day it just takes place on DAY ONE or DAY TWO.

    10. To complete a project you need to reach 100% Research.

    11. You CAN Research Twice with two posts. This does not apply to resources.

    Construction Rules:

    You can only gain 50 Resources a day of all of your resource types. For example you would gain 50 Wood 50 Stone and 50 Glass each turn.

    You must use resources to construct buildings it is up to your jurisdiction to decide how many but remember to be fair. It is more fun if you restrict yourself.

    What to do
    In each post that you create (MAX: ONE EVERY DAY), you should edit the map in some way.

    So that's basically it. Some other things I should mention is that there will only be a max of 6 players, not including me, hence the color palette on the map. The color grey will be me, or god. So, now we get to see the map.

    NOTE: You do not have to use MS Paint, in fact I recommend you use GIMP. Its faster and more fun.

    Other: We have built a large wooden wall around our island and are changing it into stone as we speak. There are cannon emplacements along the wall. We have also cleared out some land for farming and have constructed a small village with a city hall.

    I have decided to join the game, No god events will help my civilization, they will only destroy it. So you can expect the playing field to still be fair. Not only that but my God Posts will count as a post for me.

    Other: A mill has been built, as well as a shipyard. Cannons have been placed along a protective wooden wall. We have begun to cut down the surrounding forest for lumber to build ships with. The rest of the wall will be built with stone, but it won't be completed for at least 10 turns.

    Communication-Directed at Flynn: I am offering my workers to build you a stone wall along with 50 Stone, along with a Research Treaty. I'm asking you for a Small Portion of your land for all of this. Do you agree?

    Researching: Shipbuilding: 50% (My 25% + Darman's 25%) Quicker Mining: 50% (My 25% + Darman's 25%)
    Other: Built a home that has started to harvest crops. If successful, the crops will allow for more workers, and thus allow for more efficient building. The official Kaled flag was also decided upon.

    Dutch, remember to put 0 Wood. Since you used it to build your structures.

    New Rule: You have a total 50 % Research production. That means you only have 50 % to put into researching each individual project. For example, I am researching Efficient Mining, and Ship Building. Therefore I put 25 % into each one. That means I'll have both technologies in 4 days. But since I have a Research treaty with Flynn we get 25% added to each project since were both researching the same thing. Therefore it will be completed in a single day, with 50% each.

    New Rule!

    Used: 25 Wood and 25 Stone to build a turreted wall and a gate. 25 Wood, 25 Stone, 50 Glass to build a church and basic housing for the Nalbandian people.

    Actually, you can research more than one thing at a time, you just have a cap at 50%. So if I were researching two things, it'd be split up 25-25, 20-30, 40-10, etc., etc.

    Used: 50 Stone (Replaced Wood With Wall) 30 Iron (Defensive Gates) 30 Wood (Small Colonial Settlement) 100 Stone (Additional Houses) 10 Wood (Farms)

    Gotten 50 Wood (From Wood Wall, 50 tone, 50 Iron, 50 Gun Powder.

    Research / Technology Development (%): Researching: Chemistry 50% Solidering: 50% (With Research Treaty)

    To Be Received Tomorrow:

    Other: We have replaced yet another section of the wooden wall with Stone. We have also build Iron Gates on both ends of the river entrances, it only allows water to pass through not ships. Not only that but we have cleared more land for farming and more stone houses have been build on the main land. A small colonial settlement along with farm land has been constructed on the small Flynnland (Get it, Flynn Land? Like Finland?) colony.
